In this 4-week container, we'll use art, writing, embodiment, and other creative expressions to explore, witness, and hold our grief.
Many people I've supported in their grief have spoken of the lack of spaces where the fullness of their grief can be expressed. They speak of wanting to protect people from their grief. They also speak of people dismissing and minimising, distracting or trying to 'fix' their grief.
In some ways, we are experiencing a poverty of ritual and communal acts of grief. We need safe spaces for our grief to be explored, felt, expressed, and witnessed. This is what Heavy Hearts Club is about. Heavy with longing, yes. But also heavy because they are full, because they are strong. A heart full of grief is a heart full of love. Let's gather together Heavy Hearts. I'll see you at the club.

Heavy Hearts Club

Dates TBC
This workshop is an immersive experience where you will be invited into the depths of your own gender story. We will co-create a safe space to ask questions, learn from each other, and grow in understanding of gender nonconforming experiences. There will be times of reflection, encouraging us to learn, unlearn, and understand. As well as practical information, historical contexts, and discussions of real-life applications.

Therapy: Beyond the Binary

Dates TBC
Ebb & Flow is for all gender nonconforming identities and all of those questioning or exploring their gender, beyond the binary. Trying to explain my gender with a label often feels like trying to capture the essence of a river in a photograph. There is an internal Ebb & Flow, which I am continuously becoming more in touch with.
But getting in touch with the true Internal Knowing of my gender has asked me to call much into question. It has asked me to remember and befriend parts of me that had been exiled. To unlearn binary gendered societal stories about my body and myself. To connect and listen to my body so that I could scribe their origin story. This work has been life-changing, and although I did none of it on my own, I would have truly valued having a community of gender nonconforming people to journey with.
I create this space by combining my lived experience, therapeutic skills, and a deep knowledge of literature and research on GNC identities and history. Join me as we prioritise exploration over explanation through themes like story, body, and ceremony.
